As a self-proclaimed materials junkie I am constantly seeking new and innovative materials to use in building design and construction. The purpose of this blog is to share some of the materials as I discover them and post some examples of how I have used them. I will share success and some of the difficulties of being an "early adopter". As I look around my very messy desk at the array of materials that are piling up around me, I hope to be able to pull a few things our of the pile and share some information on them. I will share my insights into color, form, texture and surface.
